anyone have a recipie for "Gardenburgers"?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Cooking & Crafts : One Thread |
I LOVE veggie burgers-one brand that is especially good is "Garden burgers" Does anyone have a good fairly easy recipie to make them yourself? I found one but it was way complicated. Thanks

That's the reason they taste so good. I don't eat them as burgers, by the way, I like to just eat them as a side dish or a snack out of hand. You might try www.topsecretrecipes.com to see if they have a clone.

Thank you-I did indeed find them there, via a veggie webpage. I found one version that is probably doable.

Kelly, can you post the site you found. I must not be looking in the right place because I can't find anything on the Top Secret site. Thanks!

Hey Kelly: If you find a recipe that you like, would you post it here? I am looking also for a good recipe, have tried a couple but so far haven't found one that we really liked. Thanks!

Marie-I really liked this one-very mushroomy-uses mushrooms, brown rice oatmeal-takes a while to put together, but I really liked them. They freeze really well. I'm looking for other "veggie Burger" recipies-I found a couple of bean type ones If your interested, I'll type it in-if you wouldn't mind waiting until I get over this terrible headcold-Or, possibly, I could do some cut and paste thing.

Here is the site address for the graden burgers.http://www.frugal-moms.com/cooking/vegplan.shtml#gardenburgers
Do a cut and paste, it should work.
