I have a Sony DVP-NS700P. I encoded a file into svcd. Then burned it with nero. I got the message on the player " Cannot paly this disc. Can anyone tell me a way to play it on the player.

Can you please explain the difference between SVCD and and VCD. My PC plays VCD's no worries but someone else has given me a SVCD and I can't play it. How can I convert it?
