A wide range of subject matter! Look through his works at www.eapoe.org. Also a good, descriptive critical bibliography there. Also articles at poedecoder.com and poecentral.com . You need to hone down and focus. Fortunately most of Poe's works are short.

There are many literary devices used in his short story "The Tell- Tale Heart." It is very resourceful especially if you want to know about his writing which was mostly gothic and full of evil.
