I would like to know how you preserve the food when on an expedition? how do we start a fire at hight altitude? how long is it going ot take to cook the food on an expedition?

Answers

Most people rely on some kind of freeze-dried or dehydrated food, and use portable stoves. Cooking time is essentially water-boiling time. What takes the most time at high elevations is to melt snow to make water.
