Has anyone bought the l'espion (£40) or l'elegante (£50)?Details at:

They seem great value if you just want to stick pics on the web, email etc - and the l'espion is the same size as a matchbox...you can stick it on a key-ring and take it to the match.

...they don't pretend to compete with much more expensive digital cameras, but seem pretty good value for what they offer.

...it's not a special internet offer...they've available on the High Street at around the same prices...and have been highlighted in the computer press, as well as The Sun, The Guardian and...heaven help us....Hello.

About average price for something that simple to be honest. The small size is the main thing that attracts with those, although unless you sit in the front row the pictures at a match would be a bit crappy.

But you could take a canny picture of the match in the box...

I recently purchased a webcam from the oddly named LIDL store, for the princely sum of £29-95. It takes stills of course, but as it draws it's power from the pc could not be used as a camera away from the machine. When I got the package home I found TWO cameras inside so this was not a bad deal at all!So if any of you would like to view a video of me assembling these literary masterpieces live, whilst you read them, I'm sure this can be arranged for an additional fee. No? I guess not. Please yourselves.

While after consultation with my legal team has convinced me to enter into bargaining with the prosecution ofer my alleged involvement in the video industry I must point out to you Jonno that at NO time has any video I allegedly produced stooped to the depths of the content suggested by you on the above thread!

I bought one of those l'Espion cameras (£40 from Tesco at Kingston Park) - it takes pretty good resolution pictures and it's size is incredible. One (major) disadvantage is that it doesn't work in anything but good light; it's great outdoors and directly under an electric light, but useless in pubs and clubs when it'd probably be most useful.

Thanks...would only need it for outdoor pics - but take the point about the light. And, of course, I never cross the doors of any pubs or clubs. The size is the obvious draw.
