Thank you Rev.John (Coverage of Bishop Ming)greenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread |
Dear Rev. John On this day as the First District and the Connectional Church conducts the "Home Going" Service for Bishop Ming. The coverage of A.M.E. Today has been outstanding. I believe this is the first time in the history of our Church that a Bishop has passed on from Labour to reward since the advent of electronic communication. When I look at the more than 170 messages of condolences to the family of Bishop Ming from around the world I thank God for this medium that you and Sis. Jan have given freely to our Church. It is my hope that someone will put these in a presentation for the family either during the service today or at the interment tomorrow.I believe this will truely bring a sense of Ming's impact and the Church around the world. What a tribute to a man who began his youth constructing buildings in Bermuda as a teenager and moved to building Churches and facilities around the world for God.
May God Bless You Rev. Fisher for the great work you have done.
Blessings to the entire A.M.E today family From Bermuda Your Brother
