If there is certain times of hte day that lenders are allowed to and not to call

I need to know my rights on,what time limits are allowed to call your house i have lenders calling me at 9:00 pm at night.And before i say anyhing to them i need to know the hours.I don't know if it matters but i live in pa.

I think what would be best is if you write personally to the lenders and state that due to the seriousness of the matter - and how you are taking it seriously, etc. etc. could they please not telephone to discuss matters but place everything in writing.

Then if they do contact you, you can then officially complain that they have not adhered to your request.

I would also invest in an ansaphone so you can monitor all calls to your home.

I believe PA state law has no such restrictions on the books. They can call you when they like, at any reasonable time of day or night. I think 10pm is the "accepted" (i.e. not legislated) cut off, but this you will have to check out locally.
