Light in the workshop

Good image. This is stronger then image II. The subject here seems to be outside the scope of the picture. The subject seems more about the graphic nature of the building. Not so much about any specific thing. But if you ask me I like things just for their graphic nature. Good job.PS. Is the floor slanted. Sometimes when a neg is scanned it is scanned crooked. Look at the neg and compare it to the scan. the floor in the distant background looks slanted.

It is indeed, and this time it is a mistake. I have not been careful enough with the camera level. Well, thanks for noticing and telling :- )

Really nice shot. Did you also shoot it verticle? It seems that verticle would also work. My guess is that you shot both and just decided to show the one. I love shooting in old buildings like this. I also look for smaller abstract objects within the room. I think this is your best shot posted. Thanks for the view!

I think this picture really comes alive with the light glowing from overhead. I like this shot. It evokes questions of "Who worked here, and what did they make?"

I did not shoot it vertical. I tend to do mostly horizontal pictures, I don't know why. Some subjects only work in vertical, though, and if I see them, then I shoot vertical. In this case, the puddle in the foreground is not long enough to keep it harmonious in vertical. And using a longer focal would have changed the picture altogether.
