This image is slanted. Rotating the image in photo shop and the cropping a little would help.

I don't think it is very slanted. There is, however, a perspective effect due to the camera being tilted downwards. It could indeed be corrected through digital manipulations, but I am not interested in doing so. If I had a working flatbed scanner, I'd post scans of prints.

I don't think it's slanted, because the room corner at the center is vertical. The edges are, as Stephane said, merely converging owing to camera tilt.
