Summer Stage 2002 updated March 16th

Registration: Wednesday, May 1 2002 - Time and Location TBA For new attendees only - former attendees will receive letters by the end of March for registration purposes. Children's Theatre auditions will be held Tuesday, June 11th. Time and location TBA. Mainstage auditions still TBA. All 2002 Summer Stage Programs will take place at Camden County College. The first day of Children's Theatre will be June 24th. Children's Theatre will be held from 9 AM til 3 PM, Monday through Friday, and the last day will be Friday, August 2.

Pending rights, this year's roster of shows will be:

Children's Theatre (6th grade through high school): Cinderella: July 9 - 12 Beauty and the Beast: July 16 - 19 The Emperor's New Clothes: July 23 - 26 Songs of the 20th Century: July 30 - August 2 Tickets to all Summer Stage shows are $5. All shows will be held at the Dennis Flyer Theater at Camden County College, Blackwood NJ.

The Apprentice Program (4th and 5th graders) will be held July 1 - August 2. Hours TBA.

NEW PROGRAM: "Kids Stuff", a program for 2nd and 3rd graders. Information coming soon! Also an option for 9:00 am- 3:00 PM Apprentice Program, and a food ticket option for the College Cafeteria.

Mainstage (high school through age 25): SHOW TBA: July 19 - 20, 23, 26 - 27 (the rights to Smokey Joe's Cafe are currently unavailable; we hope to announce the new show soon) Mainstage ticket prices TBA

Summer Stage 2002 updated March 20th

Registration: Wednesday, May 1, 2002 - 6:30 PM - Glen Landing Middle School, Blackwood NJ In person registration is necessary for new attendees only - registration forms will be available on our website for returning Summer Stagers to print out, fill out, and mail in. http://www.mainstage.org

2002 Registration Fees: Apprentice Program (Grades 4 and 5): $225 (Members $215 and Patrons $200) All- Day Apprentice Program: $300 (Members $290 and Patrons $275) Kids Stuff (Grades 2 and 3): $225 (Members $215 and Patrons $200) Children's Theatre (Grade 6 and up): $300 (Members $290 and Patrons $275) Children's Theatre/Mainstage: $350 (Members $340 and Patrons $325) Mainstage Only (High School to age 25): $75 (Members $65 and Patrons $50) Tech Crew (8th grade and up - interview required): $250 (Members $240 and Patrons $225) T-shirts $15 additional Discounts for three or more children in a family.

Note - "Member and Patrons" are those who have made a charitable contribution to Mainstage Center For the Arts according to the schedule printed in our brochure.

NEW PROGRAM: KIDS STUFF 2002

MAINSTAGE CENTER FOR THE ARTS and FRONT AND CENTER, of Ridley, Pa., are sponsoring this three day a week camp for young people entering second and third grades in September 2002, who have an interest in the performing arts. KIDS STUFF 2002 will be held from July 2 thru July 31st ( no session July 4th), on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, as part of the SUMMERSTAGE program. The camp will take place on the Camden County College campus and offers two hours of workshops in all areas of the performing arts, including dance, dramatic arts, improv, vocal music and our unique backstage antics class. Our instructors have extensive experience in theater arts as well as working with children. KIDS STUFF 2002 is perfect for those who are curious to those who know that the spotlight beckons!
