Is there such a thing as an open-water sculling/rowing school anyplace? I realise that at the novice level the distinction between flat and open water may not be important, but may be it is?

Donald The Open Water Rowing Center in Sausalito holds a clinic several times a year. The Open Water Rowing newsletter/magazine issue 33 has a feature story on the OWRC (rough water clinic) that took place in July 01.
