We have just obtained a copy of the Mortgage Deed/Legal Charge relating to our case. It has both our signatures plus witness signatures. There is a "receipt" section for Abbey National to sign and date in witness of Abbey's "Common Seal".

There is no signature, no date and no seal. Could anyone please enlighten us to the significance of this, if any. All sensible answers gratefully received.
