I realize that most conservative leaders in the RM are generally amillennialists. However, I have noticed a rising tide of PRE-trib premillennialists, especially among preacher on the West Coast. One prominent on (among others) is Ben Merold of Fullerton fame (though he is no longer at Fullerton, CA.). I would like to hear your views on this subject.

I am neither, pre, post or Ah millenial. I am pro millenial - however it happens I am for it.

Seriously though, premillinialism just does not make sense. I mean to say that some people get a second chance just because they are alive is neither fair nor just. God would not work in that way is my belief. Either all get a second chance or nobody does, would be more consistent with my view of God.

As for the return of Christ, I think too many charts and maps and lessons have been written to quash the simplicity of scriptures. I mean if Jesus said at the trumpet, I am coming, the dead will rise first, the parable of the weeds indicates the unrighteous go next, and finally we who are alive will meet him in the air and be translated. What is hard about that? How can these thoughts from I thess and Matt get so over interpreted and the process get so full of details IMHO?

Simple..........doing this gets the curious & simple minded into the doors of the church, and - IT SELLS LOTS of BOOKS!

And even those who start down this path well- intentioned............usually fall into the trap of pride as they look to be the ONE who has unlocked the "mystery" of prophecy.
