Let's not forget the healing power of Jesus Christgreenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread |
The last three weeks have been very hard on me physically, as I recover from a hosptial stay and having to be bed ridden. That is the down side, the upside has been the healing power of Jesus Christ as he is healing me everyday, I am constantly reminded that physical healing was an intregal part of the ministry of Jesus Christ. I have had an incredible journey as people have prayed for my healing and then I witness it myself. When I was a child it was a regular part of the testimony time to talk about the healing that Jesus had accomplished. Have you felt the healing power of Jesus. Let's praise his name!

Hello Denise, I'm going to tell you a good portion of my story, but I'm not really sure if this is what you are asking for: On April 23, 1996 I had a real bad motorcycle accident that put me in a deep coma for over 3 months. While I was in the coma, I can remember going through a cloud and seeing a bunch of people just floating out in space behind 2 Big-Bright Doors. When I tried to enter into these Gates, I heard a Nice Soft Voice that said "Not Yet!" I'm still in a wheelchair and I have pretty soft speech that's all from a Traumatic Brain Injury(TBI). I'm always praying for the Healing Power that comes from the Lord to be bestowed upon me. I just thought that I would tell you my story about how I was Born into the Family of God. "Praise the Lord!" God Bless you, Eric

Dear Eric, what a powerful testimony you have. It is a miracle that you are alive!! It is a miracle you can even type. You are a miracle!! And your story will give courage and hope to so many others. Thank you for sharing your story. I am familiar with tramatic brain injuries. Six years ago my daughter came down with meningitus and was in a coma for six weeks, she spent 7 months in the hospital. And she shared with me that the arch angle Gabriel was with her while she was in a coma. Eric God has not forgotten you!!! He has a purpose and plan for you. When I wrote that post in february I did not know if I was going to have my foot amputated or live. I almost died. But I kept doing ministry, kept praying, and kept posting on this board. My A.M.E family prayed and gave me strength. It is now august, I have my foot, the pulmonary embolism (blood clot) is gone, I am out of the bed and walking and back to my normal schedule. Eric, I can promise you two things, 1.) God has his hand on you, which means he has something BIG for you to do! You are the only one that can do this assignment, even with being a TBI, he will use and reward you. 2.) Now that I and others on the board know about you we will pray for you and be there for you!! God is calling you to ministry with others who are having physical challenges, mental challenges. Eric they are trying to make it without God, but by your witness someone will turn to God. PLEASE KEEP POSTING!! We are your family. And know you now have family in Montana.
