Had no problems with SanDisk Smart Media ImageMate via USB using WIN 98. Was easy install and very useful, which spoiled me.

No luck installing the Compact Flash vesion. In spite of many remove/install cycles and unplugging all other USB devices get variety of errors when plug in device after installing drivers: Hourglass icon infinite loop saying loading ImageMate software; or, blue background ?illegal something? contact vendor. Can't recall others. (I used CP's add/REMOVE since vendor's didn't remove.)

Many thanks for help in getting full use out of my new Canon S30!
