A little bit about Jilliangreenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread |
Jillian has finished high school and seems to be busier than ever. She teaches Sunday school for 7-10 year olds (there are four in her class), she helps her mom with home school, goes to her grandma's to help them out (found out she can really TALK with her grandma, which should be good for both of them), comes here sometimes to babysit when I need her. She also cleans the church every week, babysits and keeps up with her many friends both in town and in New York state. In a couple of weeks her mom and sister are going to Nova Scotia for two weeks; Jillian will be homeschooling, babysitting her mom's charges as well as her own, and doing all the cooking and cleaning at home.Jillian's idea is that she wants to use this time to gain practical skills in areas of keeping a home in order. She has repeatedly offered to help me out with anything, just name it. She does not want pay, just experience. She is a blessing to all of us. We have really enjoyed watching the Lord work in her life.

Just in case there is some misunderstanding, Jillian has 4 younger siblings, 3 of whom are homeschooled. She helps to homeschool the youngest two. J's mom babysits two children, and J babysits two others. Needless to say, their house is often full of kids! Jillian hopes to have a lot of children of her own someday, so this is good practice for her.
