I have one hen that is having some trouble standing up. When ever another chicken bumps into her, she spreads out her right wing and almost falls over, but then jumps and sprints into the chicken house. I have just finished giving then a treatment of Sulfmet and the vet isn't much help. She is still eating and stays mostly with the flock. I haven't noticed any wounds and her bottom is clean so I have no idea what is wrong. Any help would be great. Thanks.

How is her crop? Is it compacted? What about her breast bone. Is it meaty or kinda sticking out anorexic like?

If she is wobbly on her legs try giving her some brewer's yeast flakes on her food (lack of vitamin B can cause this). I have cured a hen who could not walk at all after only several days of this treatment. If she appears to be dizzy it might be a pinched nerve in her nech which I don't know how to deal with.
