Medicated with what? I've had Decox added, worked fine.

if medicated keep away from horses. I don't because I have the horses, cattle & sheep feed in the same tack room and labeled but it would be my head if a horse got the wrong food. Actually, if the sheep got the cattle or horses' feed it would be a toxic problem with the copper in the other foods but the horses would be a bigger problem for me.

Not a fan of pellets unless it is a menued mix, if it is protein by products, plant and roughage by products on the tag than it could be anything! Pellets are fine if it says, corn, oats, etc. We have Lasalocid/Bovatec mixed into our grain mix for cocci. We do have folks who mix aureomycin into their grain mix this time of the year to prevent pnemonia. Hearing now that Deccox will also help with toxo problems. Not a ture medication but we also keep ammonium chloride in our feed for UC. Vicki
