LOL...forgot the closing tag there did you..LOL???I have the Popeil rotisserie that I purchased from QVC. I also love it and cook a turkey in it often. I also have done roasts, etc. But chicken and turkey are my favorites. Everything you make in them are juicy beyond belief and self-basting. Plus all the grease drips away during cooking. Gez, I sound like a commercial..LOL.

karen, how long does it take to cook turkeys? We were talking about that for next Thanksgiving/Christmas, maybe more often, if Gary agrees to raise them.

About the same as in the oven but usually about 45 min to 1/2 hour less because it is getting heat all the way around. That is for a 12 lb. bird.

Cindy, I have a Popiel Rotisserie that I got about 3 years ago. You just can't beat it for fixing juicy meats. If your George Foreman came with a basket, try fixing burgers in it seasoned with garlic salt and pepper or whatever seasoning you like. We also like fixing brats and Italian sausage in the rotisserie. I have fixed a couple of turkeys in mine and except for getting the bird in the oven, which is kind of a pain, they were the best and easiest turkey's I have ever cooked. I have also fixed lean pork steak and lots of other things in mine. Anything you might cook on the grill works well in a rotisserie. Hope you enjoy yours! Mona Lea in S.E. Missouri
