i have posted this to the berry thread and thought i would add it to the orchard thread. i will have lots of red raspberries starts and i would like to trade them for starts of other fruit bearing plants. especially trees. i have read that alot of people with peaches and cherry trees end up with new trees from the seeds.

Answers

Peach seeds are grafted onto hardy root stock. A planted peach seed will not yield as hardy a tree as the original. Dunno about cherries.

I would LOVE to have raspberries, but I think our soil is not right here.
