How to change the lamp in an enlargergreenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Printing & Finishing : One Thread |
Hi all!I am a total newmbie to photophinishing... In fact never done it before. A friend of mine GAVE me two enlarger tonight. A LPL D6700, and a Durst 609.
Now the thing is... When I power on the Durst 609, it very quickly starts smelling like it's overheating. I would like to know how to dissasemble it to remove and change the lamp, as I suspect there might be a problem with it ( as well as some dust near the lamp area!)
Thank you!
And also... Anyone knows where I could find info on that Durst 609??? I would like to sale it, I don't think I need 2 enlargers!

Changing a bulb is easily done with the following equipment: 1. a human assistant, such as your girlfriend or wife 2. a revolving stool.A. Place wife on stool. B. Tell wife to firmly grasp bulb (the light bulb, not any other). C. spin stool around and around until bulb unscrews. d. reverse the procedure to put new bulb in.
