I'm currently participating in a course which challenges me to take on a community project. I'm a massage therapist, which I love, and so it has inspired me to organize a project called "Massagathon-in-the-park". It is taking place on Sunday 3rd March, between 11.00 am - 5.00pm at the Courtyard in Bondi Pavillion. The aim of the day is to raise $2000 for the charity Paraquad. I am planning to have 20 professional massage therapists offering seated head, neck and shoulders or shiatsu massages. Ideally this will be in two shifts morning or afternoon. There will be a juice bar, and possibly some other industry related stalls. There will also be a prizedraw. It will be a relaxing and fun day, a chance for therapists to meet and make contacts. Anf if we can raise some cash for people less fortunate than ourselves, then it will be a highly satisfying day for everyone involved.

So, my question is, would you like to participate?

Due to insurance legalities, all therapists will have to carry their own insurance which I would need a copy of nearer the time. Please contact me via email or on 0400 667044. I can send you a letter of endorsement from Paraquad and any additonal information. If you can help in any other way, it would also be highly appreciated.
