Squall,Poe only had one wife, Virginia. He and Sarah Helen Whitman, though engaged, never married. Doomed from the start, she broke off the engagement in December 1848 when her mother pressured her. He then went on a lecture tour in Richmond and became reaquainted with Ms Royster and they became engaged (though she denied it later) but he died before they married.

hi, my name is nayia, and i think all this talk is wrong, you guys think your soo cool talking all nasty, but your not. what i beleive is that poe had one wife, virginia, and she was a good one. then, he met sarah, and she would have been a good one too, but poe died before they could even get married. so my advice to you is to think about what you saying, and not talk so nasty. thatnky, goodbye! nayia
