I recently heard what sounded like Michael Caine singing a song called "it's over" or something to that effect. Does anybody know whether this is actually MC & if it is could somebody tell me what it is

In the film Little Voice Michael seemed to sing the song and I personally think he sang it, made me laugh and as Mr.Boo would say "How ya Doin alright."

It's Over as sung in Little Voice was originally recorded by the late great Roy Orbison & on the DVD Commentry of The Italian Job the producer said that Caine was amongst the singers singing The Self Preservation Society song.
