My daughter is away at college and has been very sick for the past4-5 days. Finally got into the campus health clinic today. They said it was a viral infection. She feels better but is still hoarse and has a cough.

We are staying well here too. One advantage to not being around a lot of people!! I've heard the intestinal flu is going around here. My grandaughters have had that this week.

The Crud is going around here---& for miles around us----I normally don't get it---but I'm allergic to chemicals & I was exposed to chemicals & my immune system was down & everyone at our church has it & I came home Sunday night not feeling great ---by Monday--is was sore throat---by Tues it was full blown Crud!!!!! This is Fri I think & it is the first day I have really known what was going on---the rest was a blurr!!!! I'm still cruddy----but not like I was!!!

Our daughter & her family who live 2 hours from us have all had it also--- Everyone we know has had it this season!!

When we were sick last week (I think Lance may be getting it now, after taking care of all of us!), the doctors all told us it was viral, whatever virus is going around right now seems to hang on for 4 or 5 days, not just run its course in the usual 1 or 2.

Ooo, I don't feel to good right now. My mom had it yesterday, and everyone at school is complaining about an upset stomach (learned that when I had to go to the nurse because of strange chest pains). I don't wanna get it! Ahh!

PS: I'm one of those people that live around a sick person then think they're gonna get it. Heh!
