sobhillu sapta svara sundarula Bhajimpave Manasa Nabhi Hrutkantha Rasana Naasaadulayandu.(SO) Dhara Ruksaamaadulalo Vara Gayatri Hrudayamuna Sura Bhusura Manasamuna Subha Thyagaraju Neeyeda(So) There is a notion that the naming of the musical notes have been inherited from Gayatri Mantra like Bhurbhuvassuvaha(Sa from Ssuvaha) Bhargo(Ga from Go)(Viturvarenyam(Ri from Re)Dheemahi(Ma from Mahi) Dheemahi(Da from Dhee)Prachodayat(Pa from Pra)Dhiyonah (Ni from nah) These musical notes are being governed by certain devatas dwelling in our bodies which are housed at certain chakras.(Muladhara,Manipura Ajna,Visudhi,Sahsrara, swadhistana, anahata)

Hi,Somebody is challenging me that Sobillu is to be pronounced as "Shobillu" and not "sobillu". According to that person, the word "Shobillu" means beautiful and Sobillu doesnt have any meaning. Can somebody clarify?
Regards, Jay

Yes. Shobhillu is the correct pronounciation not sobillu.
