My Canon speedlight 380ex was recently sold to a friend who promptly returned it, noting that it would not work. While inspecting it, I noticed that the zoom head appeared tilted. When turned on, it continuously attempts to adjust itself but cannot. Should I try to repair this myself by removing the two screws or would I be foolish to do this? Thanks for the advice.
