You'll find it just as cheap to order chicks as to order the eggs from McMurray, I'm afraid. Maybe you could advertise in your local Thrifty Nickel or something and find them reasonably.

Mark, have you been to www.eggbay.com ? They have fertile eggs from private breeders, and I think I saw Black Aussi eggs there last week. Good luck!

http://www.creeksidepoultry.com/ This guy sells them for $4 a dozen, I have dealt with him in the past and he is a really nice person. He does sell on eggbay.com but it would probably be cheaper to go thru the site than the auctions.
