Does anyone have any good suggestions on getting the last few hairs off of rabbits after skinning them. There always seems to be a few that are almost impossible to get without picking them off one at a time.

Actually, wet them before skinning if possible.

Kevin I have tried wetting them before skinning and it does help, but after cleaning, washing ,and scrubbing and thinking I have them clean,I bring them to the DW to be bagged and she finds all kinds of hair that I missed.Maybe I need to just eat them along with everything else, huh.

Deer processors use a propane torch and pass it over the left over hairs kind of smell but does the job.

Did your mother ever take lint off your clothes with masking tape? Yesterday while cutting meat there were some hairs still hanging around so I just wraped the tape around my hand, sticky side out, it did a good job. Hope this helps. Sandie
