Did anyone just watch the PBS show (History ofgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
The name was the real history of the chicken... Good grief the only man who was even close was the man who killed his own and his family ate it in the end.But come on folks...Red panties on a silky?

yeah I saw that-people do some strange things. It was good for some laughs all right. I told my daughters definitely NO chickens in the swimming pool!

Really disappointed about the title--should have been called Wierd, little known things about Chickens--but certainly not any educational information here"

Wasted a whole hour being entertained, when I thought I was going to be educated.

Just watched it last night. What an odd bunch of people. I agree that the only man that had any sense, cooked his chickens for dinner. It did make me laugh though! Red panties on a silky, How funny!

I caught most of it the other night. What I have a hard time believing is that people move to the country and then complain about the country noises and smells etc. A FARM was in the country before a SUBDIVISION was! And I have about 35 roosters, including several gamecocks, Somebody was exagerating a a bit on that crowing- volume and amount! We are 50feet from ours and in an old house with old windows. You can't hear a thing when the house is closed. And they DO NOT crow constantly all day. occassionally, yes, you hear one or two, but not the whole flock. If you cant stand the animals, stay out of the farmland!!!
