Crawfordsville Indiana. The closest one is in Danville Ill about 40 mile away. There is several people here that drive over there. It is nothing but rural around here. A lot of places for sale and some going up on Shariff's sale for back taxes. There is a local web site. WWW.montgomerycounty.com If you need more info. send a message to my addess if you want.

Jennifer,Lawrence, KS is a "small" (-70,000 when KU is in session) and a very open, relaxed, partially Rural community. Lot's of homopathic medicene going on there, and lot's of folks who buy and eat organic and approach health from a holistic point of view. Lot's of Rural area with well spaced homes just barely outside of town. When I graduate from ESU I'll be moving back there. I consider it the ideal community for openness and non-judgmental folks, with plenty of nice ground and a lovely area to live in. I'm going back, promise. I'll bet you'd like it there. I lived there 10 years, and loved it. E- mail me for specifics if you wish. :-)

What Eureka Springs are you talking about? There is a Eureka Springs located in N.W. Arkansas that is a tourist attraction town. Great place if you want to set up some type of a oldie shop. The town is located in the Ozark Hills.

If your talking about Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It is really touristy. Fun place to visit but it might be expensive to set up shop there. I would say it would be extremely open to acupuncturists. But it isn't really representative of Arkansans. I think everyone who lives there is from some place else. It is a popular retirement community.

I love Eureka Springs, but the actual population is around two thousand. Northwest Arkansas is really growing and your draw would be from more than just the city limits. It is an open minded little town . Heber Springs, Arkansas , where I live is getting several alternative medicine businesses. I'm friends with a lady that did own the health food store and she could tell you more about how it would go over. I'll ask her if it's okay to give you here email and if it is I'll send it to you. We're small, rural with lots of retirees. Good luck .

Ahhh....Eureka Springs is a quaint, wonderful place near and dear to my heart. If you are a free spirit, appreciate art, good food, people from all walks of life, Eureka would be the place to call home! The countryside there is just beautiful most of the roads around are desginated scenic highways. Eureka is simply an enchanting place, we go as often as possible, and if we ever sell our farm, I might convince my hubby to move there.

Arkansas has lots of great little towns! Eureka is very touristy, but very nice. Heber Springs is great, I grew up just down the road. MountainView is good also, it is home to the Ozark Folk Center. Its not as touristy as Eureka. If you need any info, just email me.

We live in Mansfield, Arkansas, it is further south than Eureka Springs, but close to Ft. Smith, which might me a good source for customers. It is a nice place to live, very rural and pretty(foot of mountains). We have property for sale there. Stephanie
