History was made during the 2000 General Conference. Electronic voting was utilized for the first time. No more voting machines and trickery with the count. What was your impression upon the power of the black box? Will anyone be able to manipulate its results like the voting machines of old?

I am glad there was a switch to electronic voting machines. I was unable to attend the 2000 General Conference (due to illness), however, I heard that the process went a lot smoother than 1996. As far as manipulating the results, anything is possible. Look at the recent presidential elections. Unfortunately, if people are set on manipulating the results, they will. I am sorry to say this, but often "cash" and "special gifts" for the delegates drastically changes the vote. God bless you all!!
