A church decided to live as they did acts recently, understanding that is what it is all about. Those who have had debts, the brothers and sisters in the Lord came together and paid one and others debts. This is true and this is Gods will for his children, where are the children of the Lord?

Huh? I don't get it.

I think what this person is saying is that "a church (somewhere) came together like they did in the "Acts of the Apostles" day and paid the debts of their brothers and sisters. And the question is "where are the children of the Lord?"I ask the same question, but related to another matter - where are the children of the Lord when worldly celebrations like Kawanza, which has nothing to do with Jesus, are brought into the church?
Most folk will say that the principles are Biblical. If that is the case, then why not just celebrate the Christian principles already set forth. Did Jesus attend Kawanza? I know he attended the Feast of Dedication (Tabernacle, Lights)(Hanukah) and Passover, etc., but Kawanza? Why do we bring these worldly things into the church? The church - reaching at straws!!!
Is it because of "tolerance"? What did Jesus tolerate in his House?

WOW!!!!! Diversity is seemingly not being celebrated here. I personall do not know wether Jesus celebrated Kawanza with his people or not.Howeve, since "GOD" gave us the first seeds for a bountiful harvest and gave us the knowledge to build te tools to reap and sow,it seems natural to believe the he also has something to do with this wonderful celebration and the oppurtunity to give thanx and share with your fellow man! Kawanza by any other name is still sharing in fellowship;ie sharing food, song, dance and principles to live by.My understanding of Kawanza is this....GOD bestowed his great wisdom on a man to help unite a people,in return, these peope have shared their wisdom with all people. This is not about color but rather culture and GOD did create us in his own image! Happy Kawanza Jesus...we thank you for your wisdom and our bountiful harvest!!!!
