An insurance company is suing Qwest Communications International over the company's $20 million tab to make its equipment Y2K compliant. St. Paul, Minn.-based St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Co. said Denver-based Qwest's losses weren't covered under policies the insurance company issued to Philip F. Anschutz and the Anschutz Corp. Anschutz, who founded Qwest, holds an 18 percent stake in the company.
