Hi everyone I am back and in full swing. It feels good to be back to work after a hectic weekend. Yes I did it. I bought fifteen presents and only spent $80.00. I was very frivolous. I bought a video for my sister coffee mugs for coworkers. bath stuff for an acquaintance. tie and tools for the glove compartment for the kids grandpa, stocking stuffers, a cd for a secret santa gift, and a couple of small toys for the kids. Plus a few other things I bought a mickey mouse for my neice. I took Jalynn with me and we shopped and browsed till we dropped.

On Friday night we had a slumber party and got up and went to the museum to visit Santa. After that we went home and Ate pizza and made more Christmas ornaments. We made wrapping paper and made door chimes. Saturday night they went home and we had another little girl come over and we watched movies and played bingo.

Sunday we slept in and went to the store. I made a huge roast dinner complete with taters, cabbage, onions, and carrots. The roast was so tender it fell apart. Yum..

This weekend looks to be even busier.

Barb, Kevin and I have been seeing each other for about four months. He is a nice guy with a good job. I am not ready for another serious relationship right now. I just enjoy having someone to hang out with. That was my supposed to be Thanksgiving guest. He didn't make it because he was working on his house and hit his hand with a sledge hammer. He was so drugged up from pain killers that he didn't come. The secret santa gift is for someone at church that I drew out of a hat.

Melinda, glad you have a friend for companionship! I thought there must be someone from things you've said! I didnt' mean to be nosey just interested! I'm also glad you aren't getting serious. Time is the best thing for that. I did not remarry for over 4 years after my first husband and I divorced and I am so glad. I had a lot of things to straighten out in my mind first and I truly believe that and God being in our marriage are the reasons it has lasted 27 years. And they have been 27 good years.
