Is there a difference between the Nikon 85mm 1.8 AF D and NON-D lens. Also, are both models compatible with an N80?

Hi Michael,

Optically, the 1988 AF Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 and the 1994 AF Nikkor 85mm f/1.8D are the same. Both are compatible with the N80/F80. (Though obviously the camera cannot use distance information for ambient and flash exposure with the older lens.)
