A few days ago I ask a "who do you think is the Christ"

And it's strange that nobody has responded on this question yet.

It let me think even more, how many of us realy know the Christ that I know. All I know is He's the one that were born 2000 years ago, He's the one that got me this far in life, He's the one the set my spirit free, He's the one that is given me strenght everyday of my life, He's the one that has blessed me with a fulltime job, He's the one that has blessed me with almost 3 University degree's, He's the one that gave me parents, He's the one gave me a vision to do what I want to do in/for the AME church, O' I can talk about it for days and still there will be alot say.

Now my second question to you is "Who do is the Christ" O' I am so excited about this Man...

To the Christian, He is much more than a god, (one of many) a good man or a Prophet.  He chose us in Him before the world was created and He died for us, the ungodly, while we were yet sinners.  Praise Him forevermore for snatching me out of the fire!  He is:

I curious, why do you call Him "Co-Creator?". Please cite the scriptures. I'm thinking of One God in three persons. In hte beginning God (the one God) created the heavens and the earth. I call Him Creator, Heb 1:1-4

Al,

I was speaking in the context of the Triune nature of (The One) God.  Refer to Genesis 1:26 and Isaiah 6:8.  In the work of creation, Father, Son and Holy Ghost acted together (Gen 1:2; Ps 33:6, 9; 148:5; John 1:1-3; Col 1:15) as well as the verses you mentioned.  There's no conflict in what either of us said.

 I felt I answered your question fully.  Did you check my references?  I fully agree there is but one God.  Included in the doctrine of the Trinity is a strict monotheism which is the teaching that there exists in all the universe a single being known as God who is self-existent and unchangeable (Isaiah 43:10; 44:6,8).  Therefore, it is important to note that the doctrine of the trinity is not polytheistic as some of its critics proclaim.  My description was never meant to assert or suggest three Gods.

The word "person" denotes individuality and self awareness.  The Trinity is three of these, with person being the dominant term used to describe the individual aspects of God known as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.   Now, can we have some more fun listing the attributes of our Lord?

When Moses inquired of God "Whom shall I say hath sent me to declare the immediate release of the Hebrew people" the response in Exoddus is arguably the single most definitive reaction throughout all Scripture: IAM, that IAM!! Attributes of God: Omnipotent, Omnipresent & Omniscient!! I know Oscar Robertson rightfully held the title of the "Big O" during his basketball playing days, but the voice in Exodus makes it quite clear to me, based on the above attributes that I AM is the original Big O! QED

For me, Christ is the one who saved me when I thought I was doing all right by myself. He's the One who delivered me out of the valley of dispair and discouragement after my mother died and my closest family members went to prison and I felt all alone, He became my sho nuf company keeper when I turned to His Word. The Christ that I know is my friend that I can talk to and I won't hear my conversation repeated. Christ is the One who is there when trouble comes on my job or with my family or so called friends - He's always there in the midst of the trouble and sends His co-worker "Grace" to help me to endure and overcome the trouble. Jesus Christ, my love - The Lover of my soul. Hallelujah!
