Taking a leave of absencegreenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread |
We have had the flu at our house since Friday. I am still suffering from headaches and have one boy still in bed. I am taking a temporary leave of absence from this forum so as to get caught up with laundry (including sick bedding), housework, schoolwork, and plain old sit-down-on-the-couch-and-read time with my little ones. I will be monitoring the two threads I have started today through my e-mail, which I will check once a day just before going to bed. Other than that, I am staying totally away from the computer for the rest of this week.Due to sickness and traveling last week, Tom was not able to pray and study as much as he would like. (He has had to keep the house running pretty much by himself all weekend, and also took my Sunday school class yesterday.) I need to do all in my power to change that for this week. Yet I am still weak and could easily get sick again if I push myself too hard. So I am asking all of you to pray for us this week.
I have really been enjoying this forum, and hope to be back next week.

Take care Cathy. I'll miss your postings. Hope your family gets well soon. Rest can often be the best thing for that. And good food. Don't wear yourself out being the nurseMom. Sending you love and strength during your time of absence. :) Iris

Hope everything gets back to normal soon Cathy, sometimes a little sabbatical is just what we all need.
