Is anyone else having stress dreams. I have read of people having bad dreams since the day of 911, well I finally had one.

Last night I dreamed that I was at some kind of camp waiting in line to go to the rest room, there was a guy beside me, one whom I knew back in high school who was an admirer, he was paying allot of attention to me and I was just trying not to hurt his feelings but not really liking him either, Just like in high school, hah!,

I started to shiver and he put his leather jacket over my shoulders, then it started to rain and the sky turned black, and I knew that IT was happening. There were explosions in the dark sky, a fierce wind, and heavy rain. People were running for shelter. here is an odd part of the dream, the fellow grabbed his coat off of me and took off. Guess he didn't admire me too much when it came right down to it, hah! Anyhows I then with soaking wet hair, cold and alone thought of my family and they were all somewhere else, I thought of getting in the car and going to them but knew that it was too late. I hoped that they were finding shelter where they were.

I looked for shelter, knowing that I had to get down and be covered, and every spot was already taken, people were huddled and covered in every spot. I looked outside the camp towards a creek but knew that I would freeze in a wet spot and if I did not get dry. I stood there not knowing what to do, no place to go, without my family, watching the black sky.

It was a funny dream in that as scary as it sounds I didn't wake up in fear from it as one would a nightmare. It was sorta like just expressing my worst fears. Being away from my loved ones during a time of crises, not having any shelter from the storms of life, and so forth. The part about the guy running off with his jacket, makes me wonder what that represents. Perhaps something that I take for granted?

Last week I had a nightmare about a mom at nursery school punching my oldest son. He had actually pushed her daughter at nursery school in the excitement of a game of chase/monsters. i had soken to him and he had tried to say sorry but she was crying too loud for her dad to notice. Then I find out a week later the parents had called the teacher because Ben hadn't been "spoken" to. Mountain out of a mole hill kind of thing. Anywyas, it upset me more than I thought because in this dream he had hurt her baby (which she doesn't have in real life) while trying to play and she begins punching him. Of course I wig out. that when I wake up sick to my stomach. i still feel wierd about the dream because this is a very nice woman that until this incident I had felt quite friendly towards. Then last night or the night before I dream that I am sitting at the table reading the newspaper and my youngest is across the table eatting. He is coughing I don't really hear it..tuning it out. When I put down the paper he is laying across his chair dead from choking. That totally freaked me out too. What the heck is going on with me these days??? Maybe my subconcious is telling me to make sure Ben doesn't do anymore pushing and to pay closer attention to the kids?

My dreams lately have involved Uncle Sam! I am almost three months behind on my Dome book entries and the end of the year is coming up soon. Gotta get goin, but I just get so bored sitting at my desk!!

I don't know. I guess I dream at times but they're more symbolical and personal and usually not too earth shaking. On the other hand my wife and I both are somewhat clairvoyant and psychic.

It usually comes in the form of "voices" and really cryptic messages. For example, she "heard" suicide one night. I meditated on that and my brothers face came into vision. I e-mailed him just to say hi and to do a little "scouting" and all seemed OK. About a month after that his son, my nephew Jared killed himself.

On 9/10/01 the "voice" said 1929. The following day was the WTC attack. 1929 was the year of the big wall street crash and the beginning of the great depression.

For me its always hard to say anything certain about the meanings of dreams because it seems like they could mean so many different things and you never know when you get it "right".

Tren I was just thinking about sending you an e-mail about a re- occuring dream I had when I was younger. Kind of on the spooky side like John's nephew.

Anyway as long as I can remember I've had this dream that I was in an airplane and the right wing falls off sending it crashing to the ground. I always woke up before it hit. Year after year same dream and always the right wing. I've always been afraid to fly and that dream was a part of it I'm sure. So I get married to my high school sweety and she decides we should get our pilots licences(GULP). We do and I get over the fear. She goes on to be a flight instructer. Anyway to make a long story short she was killed in a midair colision. You guessed it!!! The right wing was sheared off by the other plane. To make it more strange I haven't had the dream since the accident!!! It stopped.

That was 23 years ago and I've long been over it but I can't help wondering about those dreams!!! Coincidence or something spooky. I don't know.

Now you know why I was going to send this to you personally!! Ha! I've probably lost all credibility around here!....Love Ya...Kirk

I also have had premonition type dreams over the years. The one that really got to me was when I dreamed in great detail about the school shooting that happened in England, or was it Scotland, back before we were having them here. When it happened, the shooting, it really freaked me out. At the time I had no idea that I really was having forwarnings in my dreams. When the earthquake in SF happened back a few years I actually was unable to sleep for more than minutes at a time. It was like I was channeling the guy that was trapped. I kept telling Gary about the guy that was trapped and he thought I was being really weird. I could feel the pressure on my legs etc. I was about at the point to fly out there when they found him.

Well, I hope my dreams are not prophetic! I just had a dream that an assassin was stalking me in the woods/mountains. I ambushed him with a big rock, took his gun, and killed him! Urg. Don't know if I really could do that . . . .

Kirk, Thanks for sharing your dream with us. I just want you to know that even tho. you were having a foretelling dream that there was no way for you to know and no way for you to stop what happened and that it was in no way your fault. That's the way these ole dreams sometimes do us, we hardly ever know what they are trying to relate to us untill it happens and then we go, OH that's what that dream was about!
