On the banned techniques page (http://marp.retrogames.com/banspg.html), it says:"Ghosts & Goblins: It is possible to sit in certain areas and repeatedly kill enough enemies to earn an extra life before losing a life (or just about, anyway). This allows the player to earn lots of extra points with very little skill."
On the MARP messageboard, there is a message (http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg.tcl?msg_id=001H4g) that includes:
"The cheat is. At the end of the Zombie section there is a spot where you move the chracter left then right, each time a zombie comes out. Shoot each time you change directions and you kill a zombie. If your coordination is good enough (I'm sure every here is :), you can score enough points to get an extra life. Thus playing pretty much forever."
Are these two talking about the same thing? That you can kill enough zombies before time runs out to earn an extra life (or almost, anyway), so that you can play a long long time before you run out of lives?
I guess my question is: Does Ramafan use a banned technique?
Cheers, Ben Jos.
