I've thought about moving it, but am reluctant because I've already moved it twice. If I have to, I will.

This place doesn't get anywhere near the traffic that some of the other boards do (notably Unk's). They may choose to move, but I'll stay here for the time being.

Unks blew off the suggestion to move. They are pretty much pretty goofy and can't deal with future likelihoods.

But your site is intelligent. Letting people know of an alternative would be really helpful when its needed.

(GICC has moved to ezboard, which is clumsy and has lost audience. But at least they keep running.)

Naw, all of them have gone down at one time or another -- including EZBoard. You can usually tell when that happens because we'll get a 3-4 day infusion of wierdness (well, even MORE wierd than usual[g]), then it goes away. :)

I don't think that you understand the setup. I have been coming to this group of servers long before the original Yourdan board. It serves many purposes. Lusenet is just a small part. Yelling fire in a crowded theatre will not work for me. Not to be the cynic, but this must be the [fill in the number] time that I have heard the same pronouncement. This board has the best software. Usually, people who make these statements are trying to sell a commercial board. I hope that you aren't one of those.

Yeah, Y2K will kill us all. ;)))
