Does anybody have experience with the older 80-200 f2.8 ED (with collar or without - same optics) and the Nikon TC-14B or TC-14E. I have found very little information about quality with these combinations. What is the optical difference between the converters. I know that the "E" series converters need modification to fit this lens. Is the "E" optically superior to the "B" or not. It certainly is less expensive. Thanks in advance.
