Hi All, Got a new (used) propane cook stove,two of the burners have a yellow color to the flame and cause a lot of soot on the bottom of the pans. The other two burners have a blue flame and no soot.The question is how do I fix that? Thanks,Daryll

daryll, my guess would be that there is dirt or dust somewhere in the area where the fuel and air get mixed. Pull off the burners and blow them out with something or vacuum them. Some burners have an air adjustment which might have become loose but I doubt it since two burners are involved. You might compare the air shutter adjustment between the front and back burners. good luck jz
