Correct me if I'm wrong, the only software that will write mpeg files on cd and would automaticly make it vcd is Adaptec VCD Creator that comes with the complete deluxe edition... WHERE DO I GET THEM?

Nero has a fully functional 30 day trial; after this it's only about $50 US for the key. Offers vcd and svcd capabilities...

Don't listen to the comment above me...

Go to www.musiccity.com and download a program called Morpheus. Its the dogs nads, and it will enable you to download movies, and that adaptec 5 Platinum Deluxe software (which works on WinXP by the way).

Thanks Boss, I am pissed off with writing VCD's that won't play on my DVD player in the front room. Have checked the contents of my home burned VCD's and compared with a commercial film on VCD and there ain't anything different, except mi ne won't run, works great on the PC. Anyway, read article about Adapt5 Platinum and it was really rated, so, again tnx Boss, I'm off to get it..
