Anywhere that will get a lot of attention and frighten people.

You'll notice that the first targets for anthrax were news media celebrities. That was guaranteed to get lots of attention in the mass media. The next targets are likely to be places or objects that represent some aspect of America's greatness and power - like the Golden Gate Bridge, the Rose Bowl, Las Vegas or Disneyland. That's just how it is.

Horrible as the attacks are, just try to remember how big the USA is. 275 million people spread across half a continent. The terrorists rely on tv to make it feel like the attack is in your living room, even when it is far, far away for most of us.

If you live in Washington DC, New York or Los Angeles, then you are probably more of a target than if you live in Indiana or Tennessee. But even then, remember that the odds that you will be attacked directly are still tiny.
