ok, i'v been told to ask, what is the best home remedy for stinky feet. I had a chance to go through the stinky feet stage when i was 12, it was a priceless time. I used to rollerblade everywhere barefoot, and one day i got into my friends house, took off the blades, and all of a sudden her mom jumped up from their kitchen table and said " get those stinky feet out of here" made a big fuss, and i was out on their porch, rollerblades and all before you could say bobsyouruncle. So, remedies please!!

Change your socks twice a day; use a small amount of powder to keep your feet dryer...do NOT use cornstarch for this because any fungus loves to munch on cornstarch....sweaty feet cause the odor and sweaty feet can more easily catch atheletes' foot (fungus). When you can, soak your feet at night before bedtime and make sure that your sneakers/boots get a good airing. I used to have all of my kids leave those awful smelly shoes on the porch and wear slippers in the house.

Generally speaking, "fresh" perspiration onto a clean surface will not produce an odor. It's the old, dried perspiration getting new life from fresh perspiration that will give you problems. Keep that in mind while you're forming your strategy.

Just a thought.....wear socks when you wear shoes etc.Years ago I used to have stinky feet. Now I don't. I went from wearing colored nylon blend socks to white cotton ones and I am no longer offensive to anyone, well at least my feet aren't.
Maybe it will help. It sure worked for me.
Talk to you later.

Try washing your feet in warm water with a little white vinegar. The vinegar will not smell vinegary in a few minutes after drying. It will kill bad bacteria which cause the smell as well as fungus.

Soak in vinegar and water, put baking soda in your shoes. This also could be a fungus in your shoes or feet. One time my husbands shoes were so bad we tried everything and finally threw them away! I mean bleach, vinegar, nothing would kill it, it smelled like mildew, mold, fungus mongus, yek! Wear cotton socks, change regulary.

i think that smelly feet have to do with diet. i find that when i have been eating well, ie wholesome, unprocessed foods, with little sugar, my feet smell fine. when i eat a lot of yeast feeding foods however i end up with more of a vinegar smell to my feet.
