Alternative to E-Bay like sitesgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
I thought I'd place this as a new thread... I also posted it in the E-bay section just below:I recently started reveicing information about another type of site for buying and selling stuff. They don't hold an auction, rather they put the buyer and the seller together directly. They have a fee for their services similar to E-bay. Have any of you used or heard anything about these guys?

Haven't tried bargainandhaggle.... There's a site called epier (www.epier.com) that looks & works much like ebay, but it doesn't charge the same fees to sellers (of course, there's less site traffic also). I've bought a few things there for much less than on ebay. For specific items, like car parts or farm equipment, we've had better luck by using forums like this one, that allow users to contact each other directly and arrange their own sale.

Well yes I like the B" WORD!!! and I like to Haggle more than the next guy and to Respond to what Reghan mentioned a forum like this one can be more effective so let us get a new thread going about ooo swaps and Deals.... and we might as well mention a location for each deal we can put together. I know that this is on topic. 1) I HAVE A 1978 BRONCO 4WD In Northern California I drive this three times a week and I have a extra Parts truck, this could be for real self reliance if the right Party offers me a good trade!!! Butte county, CA 2) I also want to share Ideas and start a thread there for Good Ideas that flow on this site we could categorize all of these also. Or Not!!!! Only if the Webmaster-owner of this site thinks it would be a good idea of course.
