I love them. Great eye, great technique - which together lead to a great mood and "closeness" to your subjects. Go, Wayne, go...! ;o)

Sorry for P.S.ing...: Are you suggesting that "Desert people" is a complete digital "fake" (as the other two examples in that same folder)? That would be just too stunning! Tell us more, please, even if in that case it wouldn't be strictly leically...

Ah yes, I forgot to mention, the images in the digital section are fully digital creations except for the 'desert people' image which is 75% digital. Real people shot at different places in Turkey and a painted bg all composited together. All of my digital work is painted in Photoshop. All the BW stuff is my attempt to get back to my roots!

When I finish working on the first of the Tolkien films here in NZ and my time frees up, I will post more digital work.

Enjoy folks.

Wayne,

Just had a look through all of your folders and I really rate your work and what I interpret to be your photographic aspirations. I am going to comment on these not as an expert, as some seem to self appoint themselves, but as a fellow photographer. My opinions will be based upon the 'quality' that I aspire to, but as yet rarely achieve... My favourite folder is the People-Street, but here I would imagine that you have more choice available to you in your work and this could be reflected here. I think your sense of aesthetic balance, and intrigue in some of these pictures is excellent, and this is where I feel you should invest some more time. The walker, gallery shots and shadow man clearly show a particular quality for me that could be grown in to something really special. I am already inspired to consider this sort of more abstract but engaging perspective by these photos, and I cannot think of a better recommendation.

Good Luck
