As the entire planet is rivited to the attack against the world in New York. People are being encouraged to get back to business.If ever the leadership of the United States was tested. This is the greatest of challenges for a President who has not seen a year pass yet. Do any of you feel that some of our greatest challenges are before us now and will form our future bench of Bishops in 2004? Many seem to feel we should downsize the bench. Many feel we need visionaries who can lead us both spiritually and economically. Some have also indicated that our General Officers should be held to the same level of scrutiny. How will we win more souls for God and grow his field ministry in Africa (substantially). Are there candidates who can meet these challenges? Looking for your feedback. Answers

The Bishops are and should be our Spiritual Leaders. They are exceptional talents with great skills in the church realm. Some of our past bishops also have good financial skills. But I would perfer a Layman whose expertise is in economics to lead the church economically. After the closure of Bishop College (Dallas Texas), many felt the leadership in the Baptist Church lacked the economicall skills to guide Bishop College.
