I am getting 2 young Icelandic sheep delivered this evening...and am really excited about it. I spin and knit, and have had an angora goat, and angora rabbits for years and 2 crossbred sheep for about 6months. These will be my first purebred registered sheep. If anyone else has Icelandics I would love some tips. I chose them because of the many uses they have and becauce I love the colors and textures possible with the wool.

I thought someone would have answered you by now. I did have Icelandic sheep. I sold them this past February. Only owned them for about 6 months. I liked them, but discovered I am not a sheep person. They were bigger than I anticipated, but I do like their wool a great deal.
